1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SakeSpirit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Age Requirement
SakeSpirit is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States). By using the App, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement. The App is not intended for minors.
3. Description of Service
SakeSpirit is a sake bottle scanning and collection app powered by artificial intelligence. The App allows users to photograph sake bottle labels, analyze them using AI, and generate unique anime-inspired character art. The App is provided as-is and we make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-generated information.
4. User Accounts & Content
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. All data (scans, spirits, tasting notes) is stored locally in your browser or associated with your account. You retain ownership of content you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your images through our AI services solely for the purpose of providing the scanning feature.
5. Free Tier & Premium Subscription
The free tier includes 3 sake scans per month. Premium subscriptions ($4.99/month) offer unlimited scans and additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for unused subscriptions.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) submit offensive or illegal content; (c) attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent usage limits; (d) use the App if you are under the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.
7. Intellectual Property
The SakeSpirit name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property. AI-generated character images created from your scans are provided to you for personal use. We do not claim ownership of sake brands, labels, or trademarks that may appear in your photos.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated sake information (tasting notes, pairings, etc.) is for entertainment purposes and should not be relied upon for medical, allergy, or safety decisions. Always verify alcohol content and ingredients directly from the bottle label.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SakeSpirit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
