Data We Collect

• •Account information: Email address when you sign up (via Supabase Auth).
• •Sake scans: Photos you take are sent to OpenAI for label analysis and then discarded — we do not store your original photos on our servers.
• •Spirit collection: Sake details, tasting notes, and generated character images are stored in your account to power your collection.
• •Usage data: Number of scans used per month, to enforce free tier limits.
• •Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How We Use Your Data

• •To provide and improve the SakeSpirit service
• •To authenticate you and sync your collection across devices
• •To enforce free tier scan limits and manage Premium subscriptions
• •We do not sell your data to third parties
• •We do not use your data for advertising

Third-Party Services

• •Vercel — hosting and edge network

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Your spirit collection data is yours — you can export it from the app at any time.

Age Requirement

SakeSpirit is intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the USA, 20+ in Japan). By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
